not much blogging action has occured in the last few days, so i thought i'd keep everyone up to speed. band annual vacation to topgolf was posponed due to business on the part of the most practised band member, and so will happen in the new year. more to follow...

every generation has a chosen one, this one's is about to be born...

our christmas extravaganza is just around the corner. we will be singing again soon. back home and singing. the question is, will it be adam james holt, or propellor head reason?

No room at the inn....

Matt's run out of room. Where's that DD-6 going to go? Answers on a postcard.

a blank canvas......

Like Michelangelo and Da Vinci I have a blank canvas in front of me.....

Where I admit this may never come close to the works of the great artists, mattphelps, benbrown and daveevans I have before me the start of my attempt at pedal art.....

It arrived this morning with its velcro backed bottom and if you place your ear against it you can hear wails of "fill me" "cover me" and "paint me"

Over the next few months we shall see it grow before our very eyes as pedals fight for the right to be part of this masterpiece......

and on the 14th day tim created.......

Pedal merry-go-round

Seeing as we are stocking up on essentials for the winter.......one of these caught my eye. 60 notes later and it was all mine. Plenty of space on the pedal board for this bad boy. Especially if I biff off the EHX Nano Clone which - by the way - is a very silly pedal...

another new toy hopefully joining the ranks soon...

this is hopefully going to be in the hands of lewis soon. although i will have to be up at 5 to see it end! a Tama hammered steel soprano

Its like the whos whos of the Beacon Bass List.
Over the last 4 Years around 9 people have played or nearly played bass......
Highs and Lows along the way and for 108 reasons people have come and gone....
in late 2006 like a ray of light the phenom none only as "the wifes brother" stepped up and joined the party..... the Bass had never sounded so good and it looked sunny.
but here we are again with 2007 around the corner and again we are on the hunt for another "ace of bass" Of Course Jacob remains and will always be called upon for the "not sunday" moments but in short we need to find another young bass head to mould and shape.
who will fill the void......
who is lucky number 10.....
here we go again.......
